The Role
As it was an internship, at times you are faced with no set project tasks or objectives to complete but other times you will be given loads of work to get stuck into. Through the continuous feedback and training programme which PwC uses, you can always use time when you have no set tasks, to try and complete some of your personal objectives or do extra training which is available to you through the intranet.
I was given a lot of useful hints and tips on dealing with clients, email correspondance and organisational formatting for documents which are important skills that can be applied in any organisation I may work for in the future.

Company Parties/Events
PwC is a fantastic organisation to work for and I feel really lucky having an opportunity to work for them.
The Culture
Everyone was always up for socialising and networking with others within the organisation. The only thing PwC could have done was organise a few more networking events themselves but in some ways it was better to allow employees to take it upon themselves to organise such things as paintballing and drinks.
London is expensive but there is a great variety of places to go eating and drinking to keep everyone happy.

As the internship was only 6 weeks, most activities outside of work involved drinks or a night out with the rest of the people on the internship. It is understandably difficult to get involved in other activities which PwC may organise all your round.
