The Role
Awesome. Such great fun, great work, great people.
My colleagues were really supportive, always happy to help, gave constructive feedback on my work and gave me an appropriate level of responsibility with the work which they were asking for.
Sometimes it wasn't very easy to meet my supervisor as she had a very busy schedule. Even booking space in advance, sometimes this had to be cancelled last minute. However, when we did meet, her support was excellent and her advice extremely helpful
I was expected to manage my own workload, but there was always plenty of project work. If I wanted to be involved on a particular project of interest then my supervisor was very happy to try and organise this.
An appropriate level. I felt I could ask questions about the work expected if necessary. I was required to manage my own workload. I had plenty of client facing interaction and direct input into reports being issued, as well as undertaking a lot of research and analysis.
They have had a massive impact informing my future career direction. The number of projects I worked on and breadth of experience which I gained during my internship enabled informed decisions about what areas I really enjoyed working in.
The Company
A very happy buzz. Hard working, friendly, collaborative, creative.
Well thought through by the team I was working in, but quite difficult to resolve problems with HR. Also some difficulty with hot desking arrangements.
