The Role
Very enjoyable, and very friendly atmosphere
Treated as an expert in my project so felt very valued
a nice balance between being told what to do and left to fend for myself
Kept busy most days and learnt to balance meetings and lab time
Complete responsibility for my project, if I didnt get the work done the project could face being axed
Helped give me an overall appreciation of real life application of chemistry
The Company
very friendly, mixed office of different business units, easy to talk to anyone about anything if they could help and vice versa
very well set up as P&G has a well established intern program
Allowed me to be trained by various people for an assortment of lab techniques as well as visiting conferences and arranging supplier meetings
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Healthcare/Dental
Seems very appealing from the relatively short time i've been here
The Culture
yes, most other interns are very like-minded people so all made friends quite easily
Near london in commuter area so a tad more expensive to rent here than other places
