About You
I enjoyed it immensely and found it a very rewarding experience.
I found that I helped the team I worked for and was able to contribute to their work.
I received a good deal of help which allowed me to complete my tasks comfortably.
I learnt some computer skills which helped me to present my work on spreadsheets. I received information which will help me understand key points in the business world.
The Company
The structure of the insight was helpful as it slowly brought me into the business environment and what was required of me in the workplace.
The atmosphere was calm and friendly as whenever I had a question there was always someone to help me out. As well as that I did not feel forced or stressed which was nice.
As I was only there for 2 weeks I did not receive much personal training, but I certainly developed in those 2 weeks.
The insight gave me a huge understanding of what it would be like to be in a full time role.
As I was only there for 2 weeks it was not enough time to fully understand the company culture but, it did give me some insight.
It was very valuable as it helped me think more seriously about the options open to me in my future career.
Everything Else
I was paid adequately for my experience.
I was so busy I did not have much time to meet other employees. However I did have the opportunity to network with people I met in meetings.
In the 2 weeks I was there, there were no specific networking/ social event opportunities.
There was no time for me to get involved but there were a number of activities employees could get involved in.
