The Role
The internship is a very nice experience: I learned about the jobs, the daily tasks and the culture of Goldman Sachs.
I felt very valued by my superiors who were always willing to teach me and guide me. They recognised if I did a good job and provided insightful suggestions for improvement.
Even if everybody was always busy, they always find 5 minutes to listen and help.
Very busy on many projects, working with 10 to 15 different people.
I believe I was given much responsibility. They asked me to build parts of the models they were working on and then actually included them in the final spreadsheet.
The skills I developed in Excel will definitely help me in solving problems more efficiently during my Finance Degree.
The Company
Nice atmospere. Every one working hard and always smiling.
The internship is perfectly organised. We attended training sessions and Senior Management Conferences on a daily basis. These helped us to acquire knowledge rapidly and discover more about the overall strategy of the firm.
The first week of the internship is all dedicated to trainings. Accounting, Valuation and Excel and PowerPoint skills are developed.
