About You
Very much so. A fantastic insight into the firm from some clearly motivated and passionate individuals. In particular, the graduate recruitment partners really take an interest in the recruitment process. I felt well looked after!
To the extent that its possible to judge this during an open day, it is clear that Taylor Wessing values its recruitment process in selecting the best and the brightest. This was clear from the Managing CEO talking to us right through to the amazing job that Sarah did with the organisation!
The trainee assigned to us during the business game did his very best to assist us and was very helpful! Other than that, the day was well structured with a clear focus on helping us through the recruitment process.
Whilst not necessarily in my degree, this event will undoubtedly help my through the application process not only to Taylor Wessing but also to other City Law Firms.
The Company
A clear outline and timetable delivered from the start. The day ran exactly to the structure given with time for breaks inbetween.
Friendly, collegiate with a real emphasis on what it is like to work at Taylor Wessing and what makes it different. Very useful.
More than investing at this point, it was a future commitment to training. I felt in safe hands!
Networking with trainees, partners and associates gave a real opportunity to learn about the atmosphere within the firm. They didn't try and pull the wool over our eyes and gave us a real day-to-day breakdown of work here.
Again, talking to the people who work at a firm is the only way you can really understand the culture. We were given plenty of opportunities to do so right from partner level!
It was more focused on the application process than the work itself. That is on the vacation scheme, which the open day was designed to prepare you for.
Everything Else
I was not paid expenses as I walked from campus, a mere 8 minutes away!. Taylor Wessing do re-emburse expenses if you have travelled.
Yes. At lunch and over drinks after the day.
Very good. Lively and fun trainees!
Yes! it seems Fridays are sacred at the firm with regular socials and events.
Yes. A great way to learn more about the firm, and what makes Taylor Wessing different.
