About You
The insight day was incredibly well organised and well structured as I found every event flowed very well into the next one and provided attendees with ample opportunity to network and to find out further information about the Firm.
As soon as I set foot in the door, I felt appreciated and welcomed into the friendly and warm atmosphere by Graduate Recruitment, Partners, Trainees and the other staff alike.
We received guidance through the presentations we were given by Managing Partners and Graduate Recruitment over the course of the Open Day aiding us in preparing our prospective applications to the Firm.
The Business Challenge will provide attendees with an invaluable skillset for prospective interviews at comparative City Firms as well as potential interviews at the Firm itself.
The Company
Incredibly well structured, as there was a clear cohesive flow from one incredibly well planned event to another.
Friendly and welcoming from the outset and throughout
Aside from the Business Challenge which was voluntary in terms of how much you learnt, there was not much of this; however, the purpose of the day was not about this, it was more about discovering and learning about the Firm and its operations.
It gave me a full and complete picture as we had ample opportunity to find this out through the structured networking lunch as well as the chances to talk to employees over drinks once the day had finished.
It provided a detailed picture of the Firms working life and culture as elucidated in the presentations we received over the course of the day and the conversations that were had with Taylor Wessing employees
The Open Day itself was invaluable and provided an informative insight into my future career path and reaffirmed my belief that I really want to apply to this vibrant International City Law Firm
Everything Else
We were offered the opportunity to be reimbursed expenses, but since I am a student in London and have a monthly Zone 1-3 Oyster Card, there was no need to be reimbursed for the fares.
There were ample opportunities to network and discover more about the Firm through the presentations, networking lunch, Q&A with a partner as well as through the Business Challenge at the end of the day to ask questions about any aspect of the Firm we were interested in.
They were informative and insightful
During the networking conversation with a third-seat trainee, I discovered that the Firm offers a wide variety of opportunities both in the sporting and non-sporting sphere, so that all extra-curricular demands of trainees are satisfied (within reason)
100% - excellent experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to discover more about a vibrant and outstanding International City Law Firm
