The Role
The overall experience was very enjoyable. I was able to participate in a number of different projects, with a number of varied clients.
My colleagues all treated me as if I were a full time employee. I didn't feel like an 'intern' at all.
All at EY were happy to offer me help and guidance whenever I needed it. EY has a very flat structure which allows for easy interaction between interns and managers.
This varied between engagements, however I found that there would always be something I could work on if I asked around.
Initially the responsibility was minimal, however by the end of the internship I was dealing face-to-face with clients without supervision.
Internships enhance a whole range of skills, including organisation, professionalism and responsibility.
The Company
I was in audit so rarely in the office, but there was a calm and friendly atmosphere in the office when I was in.
The internship was flawless. A very nice welcome event was held, with training and social events. I was kept busy throughout my entire experience and there was an ending celebratory event at the end. It was a very smooth 6 weeks.
The company invested a great deal in development and training. In addition to the initial week training, I was constantly learning from my supervisors and colleagues throughout the 6 weeks.

Company Parties/Events
The future prospects are very good. The company has plans to expand greatly in the next 5 years or so.
The Culture
I was treated to various social events and dinners throughout my internship. There was a good social scene.
I commuted, however the rate of pay reflects the costs of living in the internship location.
N/A
EY has a host of networks outside of work that all employees are welcome to be involved in. There are a lot of activities run by EY and fellow employees to get involved in.
