    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was good in the sense that I learnt a lot about the opportunities at MUSI, before doing the insight day I had no idea they even did graduate programmes! It was an enjoyable day, not too long and enough breaks given in between.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt we were well looked after with the staff always being present as well in case we had any questions.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • Received a lot of guidance as to what the different roles at MUSI involve and the opportunities available, for instance the possibility of travelling.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It didn't really because it was just an insight day so not really enough time spent there to develop skills.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured with presentations given first and then an opportunity to network and find out more by talking to recent graduates and managers.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • All the staff there were welcoming and the day ran smoothly. The atmosphere was relaxed and open.

    • It was just an insight day so not really applicable.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Talking to the graduates was insightful as they told us about their day to day activities.

    • The culture was emphasised throughout the day and also visible when walking around the building.

    • I learnt a bit about investment banking which was useful. Decided it may be the path I want to follow.

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Travel down to London was paid for which was great.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes at the end of the talks we had an hour or two to network.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • The networking session was really good as not only were there MUSI staff, but also recent graduates who had joined so we could ask them what their days really involved as it was more relevant to us.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • As stated before the possibility to travel was mentioned.

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?

    • Yes I would because it was informative, and as the travel was paid for that was a huge bonus as you didn't need to worry about costs.
