The Role
I loved it!
I really felt as part of the team. Everyone around me was always helpful.
My manager and team always helped me as often as they could. If that meant they would have to stay in an extra hour, they were willing to do that.
Every day was different, but what I can say is that there was no day where I felt stressed and no day where I got bored.
I was fully responsible for a piece of a project.
I have learned many technical skills during the internship. However, I also learned how to guide a project to completion in a real environment. I have also learned a lot about finance and interpersonal skills.
The Company
It depended on each floor but on my floor it was quite relaxed and friendly. Everyone was really nice and helpful.
Everything was well planned and we were always notified about upcoming events with at least a few days before they took place. There were minor hiccups related to the conference room being new but overall everything was well organised.
There was always the opportunity to learn anything via the company's internal "university". Aside from this, we had to take many trainings related to the law governing the company.

Extremely appealing!
The Culture
Everyone got along real well. About half of the interns were students at my university so we knew each other but we also managed to become friends with everyone else as well.
I would say it was quite decent. Prices in Glasgow are generally really good.
Glasgow is a very vibrant city. There were plenty of opportunities to have a great night all around the week.
There was a day where all the interns participated in volunteering outside of the office.
