The Role
Best four weeks of the summer without doubt
I was made to feel so welcome, especially in the banking group
I was given supplementary classes and lectures and all my work was thoroughly explained. I was always able to ask questions and received support when I needed help.
Interesting hands on experience with lots of fun thrown in.
Drafting a loan agreement worth £50 million felt great.
Time management, communication and team work in particular. I also feel a lot more confiedent and assertive now.
The Company
Really friendly, lots of cake and drinks also.
Fantastic- everything always worked out.
Lots of lectures, classes, reading material, access to books and other materials, a banking partner took time to organise banking tutorials etc.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare from home
Offered a training contract
The Culture
We meet up all the time in Oxford, even the people studying in London come back for the parties. Lots of contact with everyone and really miss them!
Expensive but I commuted from my family home, which was fairly cheap, and social activites were paid for by the firm.
London nightlife without having to pay is fantastic.
Community investment, lots of sports teams etc.
