About You
It was a really interesting experience - the talks were filled with valuable information and advice, and the business game was really fun!
We were really well taken care of throughout the day, and the fact that Partners took the time out to get involved made me feel quite valued.
Everyone was very helpful - from the graduate recruitment officer to the trainees and the Partners, everyone gave us some very useful tips and guidance.
The information we received will definitely be of immense use when applying not just to Taylor Wessing, but anywhere for a vacation scheme or a training contract.
The Company
It was very well structured - we were all given an agenda at the beginning of the day and this was adhered to very precisely. There was a good balance between formal and informal activity, with the right amount and duration of breaks in between.
The atmosphere was great! Everyone we met was extremely friendly and I absolutely loved that.
Although it was only a day long insight, Taylor Wessing conducted a business game which was quite helpful in terms of training and development, to give us an idea of what an assessment day would look like.
The Partners who spoke to us at the beginning of the day were very open to questions about their roles with the company and this was very insightful. Our lunch with the trainees of the firm also helped us understand what people at different positions in Taylor Wessing do on a day to day basis.
The informal activities during the day showcased the company culture quite effectively. Watching the trainees and Partners interact both with each other and with us showed how close knit everyone was.
It gave me a good idea about what this career path involves, and reaffirmed my conviction that I want to be a solicitor in a firm such as Taylor Wessing.

They were informal enough so that we could ask questions without feeling assessed or under pressure to perform, which was very helpful and relaxing.
Yes - the trainees told us about their sporting involvement over lunch.
Absolutely!
