About You
I very much enjoyed the open day. It was a great chance to understand more about the firm and experience the culture working there.
Everyone was really friendly. Staff would often come up to talk. It wasn't a strict environment - it felt really relaxed. I'd say I felt really comfortable talking to everyone there.
Loads. They answered all my questions clearly and received lots of advise on how to pursue my career with the company or in general.
It definitely gave me an insight on how solicitors work and its definitely different from just studying so I that was a great experience just to understand that difference.
The Company
Really well. Everything was organised and laid out. There were frequent breaks in between sessions for tea and coffee and it made it really relaxing.
Everyone was smiling and friendly and it was just really cool to be there.
I only went to an open day so I really can't comment on much. But at the end of the day was a business game, which was the first time I had done such a thing. I learnt a great deal in presenting and just working in a team in an environment that I was not used to.
Speaking with trainee was great insight. Everyone was happy and enthusiastic about the things they did in the firm.
Again a great deal. You can even tell from how partners at the firm talked and you can understand that it was a very friendly culture.
It allowed me to understand the work that they do and the culture they have and it is definitely something that suits me.
Everything Else
I was not paid or reimbursed but those that did need to be reimbursed for travels could do so.
There was a great amount of opportunities throughout the day.
Relaxed. Generally it was all asking questions about work. It was on the most part just friendly chats and everyone was very open.
Yes definitely.
Very much so. It was a great way to know about the firm more and I definitely learnt a lot whilst being there
