    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Thoroughly enjoy working for the company on a day to day basis. Very pleased with the amount of responsibility and freedom I have in the work place but also the support that I recieve is fantastic. I feel like I have learnt and developed an awful lot since starting.

    • My colleagues are very friendly and supportive towards me.

    • Do not feel as though there is anything that I cannot seek advice or help on.

    • There is always something to be getting on with. Some jobs were very urgent and required very swift actions to ensure they were completed but overall a very good balance.

    • I was given an awful lot of responsibility but was very pleased to be allowed to have this.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • This has given me a great insight into chemical engineering and after thoroughly enjoying my experiences here I have no doubt that this is the career that i wish to persue and develop in. The learning curve was extremely steep and challenging which has lead to me learning a vast amount this year. It is very relevant to my course at university.

    • Very good and pleasant atmosphere in the office. Very good balance

    • I was given learning objectives and targets that I had to meet in order to progress to the assesment centre at the end of the year. very well structured.

    • I was given lots of oportunities to complete inductions and training courses which I took full advantage of. Proved to be very beneficial to me.

    • I have to get put forward for the assessment centre at the end of the year and following a good display there then I may get offered a job.

    • Very low prices for accomodation in the area
