  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Had a fantastic time, everyone was extremely welcoming and supportive.

    • My colleagues were extremely thankful and ensured that my work was 'value' added and tailored towards my personal interests.

    • I had weekly 1:1 sessions which were helpful - we reviewed the past week and set the direction for the next one

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • I had a good balance of work to do - was never swamped, but if I felt like I was lacking things to do I was always made aware of the opportunities!

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given a great deal of responsibility for day 1 and always had options to take on other areas of responsibility if I wanted to - there was a good balance between too much and too little so that I felt like I had ownership of projects, but could draw on the support and advice of those around me if needed.

    • I had a huge amount of training - presentation workshop, CV and interview workshop, weekly feedback offering advice for areas of improvement, internal talks, work shadowing ....
