The Role
I love my placement!, although its hard and challenging at times. To sum it up, it’s been a great experience and eye opener – that’s exactly what a placement is meant to be.
Amazing – everyone gets on with each other well and its environment where you have loads of interaction among colleagues who give continual feedback and advise
My line manager was always around to offer support or advise, whilst she was away on business trips I could always contact her via messenger! We have weekly meetings we’re we are able to discuss or raise concerns in private if there ever was the need to..
Busy is an understatement….Certain parts of the year are hectic! – low on resources, urgent demands coming in before the end of the year – that’s life, u get the ups and downs!
Started of slow and good amount of training, but as the months come by, u get given more and more responsibility and expectations – which is great. I can honestly say I feel as I’m part of the team and not just come intern who does the odd bit every now and then..
So far everything I’ve learnt at university has been put into practise. I’ve also gained a great insight into the working life and how time management plays a huge part on my job. Disney offer good amount of training/ support is always around when you need through colleagues or line manager.
The Company
peaceful and enjoyable!. it wasn't noisy or disturbing OR dead silent! - bubbly would be a good term to use. everyone on my floor is nice and cheerful!
Very well organised – Disney has interns year after year so they know how to manage interns well.
They’ve invested time and resources to train us interns. We’ve also been given training guides and chances to improve our understand outside of work.
