The Role
I am really enjoying my placement, I'm learning a lot and I'm seeing how a large corporation works together too gain the best results.
I feel like I've been given a lot of responsibility by my department throughout the placement so far. They haven't just treated me like someone who knows less than them.
I've been given support from my first day, I've always felt like I can ask if I need any help and they're helping to review my progress.
Extremely busy everyday, especially at month, quarter and year end.
I have been given a huge amount of responsibility by everyone in the department since the first day.
This placement has helped me to develop my understanding of my course greatly and will give me a huge advantage when starting a new job in the future.
The Company
The general atmosphere was friendly, occasionally loud and chatty but at times where it was really busy it was very quiet.
It was well organised, I got trained by the intern before me, however there could have been a bit more structure - however I started at quarter end so this was an understandably busy period.
The company didn't spend that much time training me, I was trained by the intern before me.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Travel loan
Very appealing future opportunities.
The Culture
Yes - we all did things together on a weekly basis.
Very expensive - London - couldn't really afford to socialise that much or if we did it was somewhere as cheap as possible which is limited in London.
The nightlife was amazing.
I joined the Disney Netball team which lasted over the Summer.
