    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • MMT Digital provide an excellent placement; with plenty of opportunity to develop your skill-set and learn the complexities of web development. Working within multiple different teams, not only was my technical knowledge challenged, but also my communication and time-management skills. It is a brilliant environment with a very youthful culture!

    • I was assigned a mentor to help guide me and assist whenever I had questions.

    • There was never a time where there was no work!

    • Within two months, I was able to start leading the development of a website built on top of the Kentico platform. I worked firsthand with clients and played an important role in the team.

    • Vibrant and youthful culture - plenty of socials and out-of-work activities are planned every year by their excellent social committee!

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Appropriate work is set to challenge and develop your skills further, dependant on your technical knowledge and background. Each student is given proper training and an induction into the team they will be working in.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Absolutey. Christmas parties are all-expenses-paid, and have always required a plane to get there! Edinburgh, Amsterdam, Barcelona, etc.
