The Role
A great company to do a placement with. Everyone is always willing to offer you help and teach you new things. You get great exposure to big name clients, and lots if interaction will senior people, such as partners.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyPlacement Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] they never stopped explaining things things and trying to get me involved in as many things as possible.
Excellent guidance throughout, especially from HR/Graduate Recruitment.
Some quieter days, but on the whole a good balance.
While I was given plenty of opportunites to get involved in things that were going on, due to the nature of the industry, I was not weiged down heavily with responsibility.
Won't assist in degree very much, but will for future as I intend to rejoin as a graduate if I'm offered a position.
The Company
Everyone got on really well and while everyone works hard there is plenty of banter.
No problems.
In this placement there was little scope for investing in the interns however I felt the salary was more than "competitive"
Hopefully good!
The Culture
Very good social scene. There were plenty of events organised and plenty of opportunities to go for drinks after work.
its okay just the standard outside of london so not too expensive
average for a city - quite a few good clubs in the printworks
Not so much during the placement, but there will be in a full time role.
