The Role
IT was very enjoyable but at the same time very demanding.
I certainty feel that they value a lot of the time and effort I've put into all my work.
Its very difficult to find the time to help any intern and provide guidance, however management have always found time to do this for me. As result, I've improved as the year has gone on.
Extremely busy.
I'm working on some very confidential projects within in the Film Industry, It is a big responsibility, and shows the level of trust management have in me.
the level of organisation is something which I've improved dramatically.
The Company
Generally quite but very friendly and kind.
There are constant meetings and opportunities with management to discuss your progress and what you aim to achieve. These meetings definitely help organise what you look to get involve with while on your internship.
There is a 2 week transition period when you begin, and there are a number of introductory meetings to introduce Interns to systems and projects.
Company Parties/Events
There is no graduate scheme, but many people who have impressed have been know to return after graduating.
The Culture
The social scene is organised mainly by the interns. We go play football together and organise night out by ourselves
London accomodation is expensive. Don't expect to make a lot of savings if any at all. Socialising in local clubs and bars is where a lot of money can be spent, but there are cheap ways to get around these things.
Hammersmith is okay for catching a drink, but your only 30 mins away on the tube from all the nicest clubs, bars, pubs and resteraunts.
As part of the Intern group we created activities for ourselves, however Disney tends not to set anything up.
