The Role
I enjoyed every minute that I spent at Disney, it is a great company to work for with lots of opportunities. It has that element of fun within all the hard work that you would expect.
I worked within a great team who valued myself and the other intern we were given responsibility and after a couple of weeks it wasn't like we were interns more full time.
I had a great team leader who helped a lot as well as a good manager, both offered a lot of support and guidance and were easy to talk to when needed.
There were days when you were very busy and quieter periods. But this is due to the IT support environment.
Loads of responsibility and as time went on you got more and more. It was a great way to learn but it also helped to ease you in comfortably to a point where you were able to do a lot within your role.
The role that I did at Disney was just what I needed to develop the skills I was learning in my course. There is text book learning and then seeing them get put into practice which is what I was part of here. It also gives you a great idea of what it is like to work in the business world.
The Company
As you can imagine the Disney office is a great one to work in, everybody is happy and helpful. Even on the busy days the atmosphere was good.
It was very well organised, when starting I had a training plan and from them on meetings with my team leader. I always knew what it was I had to be doing and there was always someone to help and teach/
There are plenty of chances to go on courses to develop your learning. There is also a chance to shadow other roles in the company.

If you make an impression whilst you are here and an opening comes up then they do keep you in mind.
The Culture
Great, there was a facebook page with events happening all the time.
It is expensive because it is London but the wage helps with that.
It was good for bars and pubs however not very good clubs, only a tube ride into the centre to get this though.
At Disney you are able to "voluntear" which is a really good cause.
