About You
I really enjoyed it, it's a great company to work for.
Even though I was just an intern, they respected me and valued my work.
I was encouraged to ask questions all the time and everybody was very open to questions. I got the support that I asked for.
I learned to conduct primary market research which would be useful if I'm doing a market analysis in the future. I'm sure what I learned will be helpful for me in many areas including my degree studies.
The Company
It was very structured. Both HR and the division that I interned in knew what to do and when to do. They were very efficient.
It was very supportive and everybody was very positive.
The firm didn't offer me a professional training programme but there was no time as the duration was a week. Therefore, I received the training from the employers and learned by doing and observing.
I was shadowing a female leader soI learned what she does on a daily basis, I attended all the meetings as well. It was a great way to understand what an employee does at PwC and how it is like to work there.
I observed the company culture as I was shadowing the employees. Also, during the lunch times, I got to talk to employees who conveyed me more about the company culture and their experiences with the company.
Everything Else
I met many other people, even from other divisions. People were very friendly and they introduced me to other employees so that I could understand the firm better.
I would highly recommend it. It's a great way to understand the division and that you'll be doing if you start working there. Shadowing is a great way of learning and combined with helpful employees of PwC, this insigt provides an excellent opportunity.
