    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • The experience was great, I got first hand experience as to what life would be like in the PwC office. I was unsure of the profession I would like to work in once finished university, however the scheme provided me with useful insight and helped me to make my choice.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Although I was only there for a week, I felt like I was a valued member of the team. I firstly received a laptop which instantly made me feel like I was playing a part in the company! I was given small jobs which added to the overall team progress, therefore, making me feel a sense of achievement. I got to see a number of teams within the company over the week, all of which were very accommodating and people were willing to help and allowed me to ask questions to gain further knowledge.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • From my mentor I received a great amount of help, whenever she did a task or people came to her with queries she ensured that she took time afterwards to explain what was going on to me so I fully understood. I felt anyone in the office was approachable to ask questions and help me out if need be.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The knowledge I gained from the experience helped me to gain communication skills by talking to a whole variety of new people, my confidence also grew along side this. I feel the skills I gained in the scheme will stay with me as I go into work as it was a very positive experience.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • It was very well structured. Lots of guidance as given prior to the insight, allowing my nerves to be eased and get myself organised. Once with my mentor she had set out tasks that I could do while also moving round and going on appointments with her. I was felt bored nor like a lost member throughout the experience.
