About You
Interesting workshops and Q&A sessions, however some tasks were obviously implemented to fill up time.
Approximately 60 people on the course, so you sometimes had to compete for attention.
Received lots of guidance and advice for the assessed tasks, particularly the feedback from group assessments.
Particular emphasis was placed on developing interpersonal skills, which is useful to many aspects of life.
The Company
The schedule had a satisfactory balance of activities and free time. Were given a timetable for the event at the beginning which was useful.
Staff and other students at the academy were very amicable, making the course a very pleasant experience.
Gave a number of group tasks to identify key skills, but a lot of the information was simply related to the students by a single person.
Had a number of useful Q&A sessions. Was sometimes difficult to form a coherent narrative to the questions due to the large volume of students present.
Large emphasis on the new qualities required by PwC employees.
Provided a good insight of all areas of employment. Meet and greets with partners was particularly informative.
Everything Else
Accommodation and travel expenses were covered.
Networking events every night.
The company people were very willing to sit and chat as long as you wanted and were very friendly.
Yes, during the networking events these were addressed.
Very useful if you want to get a taste of the company, but not useful for getting a headstart towards the interview process.
