The Role
Felt really useful and valued within the company which makes any less interesting moments still enjoyable
Always a helping hand there if you need it.
First couple of weeks my manager was always on hand to make sure I was doing things correctly, which made me feel confident that I knew what I was doing. Later on I started to just get on with things and just ask questions as and when neccessary.
As with any job there have been busy and quiet times but in general the workload is well balanced.
As time has gone on I have been given more and more responsibility to the point where I am running my own projects
The skills which I use on a day to day basis relate directly to my degree and dissertation proposal.
The Company
Always fun and interesting and people are always around and happy to help when needed.
Very well my turnaround from application to starting was less than a month
Always training courses being run which you can ask to go on. Only deny you if they feel that it has no benifit to you.

Very good future employment prospects about 50 current members of staff are ex placement students
The Culture
All the other placement students get on well with each other and we therefore are out most weekends with one another.
Quite cheap as the students are living in Reading close to the university
We live in reading rather than bracknell itself so the nightlife was very good as we utilised the student offers and events organised by Reading University
Several events organised throughout the year including discounts on trips abroad on eurostar and young proffesionals networking evenings.
