About You
It was excellent, engaging and informative.
The business game was a great way of getting us to interact with the firm in a way that let us feel what the firm's culture is like.
The informal and approachable nature of trainees and recruiters made me feel that I would be well supported if I were to join the firm.
The business game scenario was excellent preparation for commercial awareness interview components, as well as giving us a good idea of the sort of skills the firm is looking for.
The Company
The balance of presentations and activities I felt maximised the relatively brief amount of time we spent at the open day - it went quickly, yet it was remarkable how much was fitted in.
The people at the firm as well as fellow attendees were friendly and lively people and helped reassure me that this was the sort of culture I would enjoy developing within.
The number of trainees and time committed to us made me feel that Taylor Wessing takes it hires seriously and that in turn, I would be a valued team member.
The amount that can be fit into a single day is limited and there was not, say, a negotiation workshop. Nonetheless it was valuable to prioritise a commercial awareness activity and was more than I expected from an open day.
See previous comments. Very much so!
After the open day, I cannot imagine how anyone would be able to apply convincingly without the access afforded to us and I would recommend this opportunity to anyone interested in the firm.
Everything Else
Very reasonable, and efficiently administered right at the start of the event.
Plenty. Lunch was a great way to meet trainees informally and get a sense of the sort of people the firm was looking to hire.
See previous question.
Limited scope for this admittedly, though might have been nice to elaborate further on the various international and pro bono opportunities.
Absolutely! As I said I can't imagine how one could apply convincingly without it.
