  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very enjoyable with a good balance between information and participation exercises, with valuable time to ask questions of people at all levels of the organisation.

    • Extremely valued, and the content of the day made it more than worthwhile to come, I felt that we were rewarded with good information and tips for the future, as well as opportunities to get to know people within the organisation.

    • A lot of support, a very well structured day.

    • While my degree is not relevant to this placement, I feel that the skills and information i developed and received will be invaluable in my future plans within this industry

    • Very well structured and clearly set out, with a good balance between information and participation with plenty of opportunities for questions.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • Very welcoming and nurturing, with a lot of support and guidance if we wanted it, as well as an undercurrent of rive and healthy competition.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • The firm gave us a lot of tips and information regarding applying for longer internships in the future and actual jobs within the company, so I felt that we were invested in and rewarded with very useful information for making the time to visit.

    • I imagine a longer insight will help more, however from my conversations with employees and partners I felt very positive about the prospect of a full time role in the firm.

    • Very helpful, we met a lot of people and were able to converse naturally and without limitation, so I feel I gained a good understanding of the company culture.

    • Extremely valuable, I feel much more settled on my decision now.

    • I was reimbursed travel expenses, which I feel was more than adequate.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes, many opportunities meeting people at all levels from trainees to partners, which was an invaluable part of the day.

    • Very good, over lunch and drinks networking was encouraged and was very enjoyable and informative.
