About You
Engaging and interesting presentations. Many opportunities to get involved in exercises.
Everyone was encouraged to ask questions and get involved with exercises.
I attended an open day, but we were given support when taking part in exercises.
The open day provided good insight into the firm and its work. The exercises reflected vacation scheme tasks. Lunch with trainees, associates and members of the graduate recruitment team was also useful and insightful.
The Company
Well structured. Each part of the day was long enough to be informative, but short enough to maintain everyone's interest. Regular breaks and refreshments.
Good. All associates, trainees and graduate recruitment members were approachable.
Given that it was a one-day event, there wasn't too much scope for this, but I found the presentation and negotiation exercises helped me further develop some presentational skills and commercial acumen.
As much as possible in one day.
Talking with trainees and associates was particularly helpful on this front.
Very helpful. Helped confirm my decision to both pursue a career in law and apply to the firm.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses.
Yes, lunch with associates and Q&A sessions with trainees.
Good, as above.
