The Role
The people in my team were very welcoming and my the end of my placement it felt as if we were like a family! I enjoyed all of the things that I was asked to do.
As mentioned in the previous question, we felt like family
I had weekly supervision where I could raise any queries
I was not too busy during the first 2 months but then it really picked up and I got really busy
I was given a lot of responsibility because i was doing thereapy on my own with service users
I recieved a broader knowledge on some of the modules that I am now doing in my final year
The Company
My team always used to crack jokes with each other and have a laugh but when we needed to be serious we would be
very organised as they have been doing placemenets for several years now
4 weeks of training modules to set us up for the rest of the placement. This was excellent
Flexi Time
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I would consider working here after i graduate
The Culture
There was 8 other students on placement there and we got on amazingly
I was living in student accomodation and in birmingham city centre which was quite expensive but apart from that not to bad
I lived in the same place I have been living whilst at uni so it was the same...ok i suppose!
A few sissions and focus groups with service users
