The Role
A great insight into how technology is implemented at a bank. Every day was different on my placement, but all were busy.
Very friendly and professional team
Weekly/Monthly meetings with team leader and manager
I was always busy, but technical support is always needed so this did not come as a surprise.
Entrusted with enough responsibility to feel like a member of the team, had nearly all access rights they had
Invaluable opportunity to develop networking, technical and professional skills
The Company
Lively teams, more than happy to have a chat with a stranger
Good structure, clear goals defined, weekly and monthly intern & cross division events were excellent!
First placement week is dedicated to training
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Secured a place on the graduate scheme - these placements are the best way to get on!
The Culture
Very sociable and friendly group!
London is never cheap, but the pay was more than enough to make up for that
London has a great nightlife! Camden was my favourite place to go out.
Went dragon-boating with my division, there was also the opportunity to play basketball, rugby and other social events.
