The Role
It provided me with a great insight into the company including work values and business strategy
I felt like a park of the team at all times, with my own responsibilities and jobs to complete.
My manager was always there to support me.
I was busy 90%, there are plenty of things to get stuck in with so it's more or less up to you how busy you are.
I was given a medium level or responsibility.
The skills I gained include: presenting, report writing, communication and team work and gave been applying many of them in my life at university and doubtlessly they will aid in my working life.
The Company
the office atmosphere was always friendly and supportive.
Although initially well organised, many things changed because of the dynamic of the work place so sometimes the role description may not be as accurate as you think.
My manager was very supportive of all the extra training I wanted to do; some other students didn't do as much because they we're interested but if you seek more personal development, there is plenty available to get involved with.
Financial Bonus
I applied for the graduate role within the company.
The Culture
The social aspect was great, we only lived 30 mins from Brighton so had plenty of weekends out there.
In my area, everything was relatively cheap which meant good value nights out.
Not great, but only 30 mins from Brighton to make up for it!
There were plenty of events and activities going on; I took up running and did a few 10km runs when there.
