  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Enjoyed the insight greatly, since we were able to be engaged in games based on different areas of Blackrock.

    • Representatives from all areas of the business was certainly very helpful and respectful during the event.

    • I have gained immense support from representatives on the day, as many were engaged in the activity with us students throughout the event.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Although I have certainly learnt loads about BlackRock and their speciality from this day's event, but it is less likely that I am able to apply these knowledge to my studies.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The event was very well structured, with students constantly challenged and engaged in a diversity of activities, from mini presentations to case studies.

    • The general atmosphere was very supportive and respectful for each other. Every representative I have met were also very helpful no matter what questions I threw at them.

    • BlackRock have definitely provided students with resources regarding applications for their roles, as well as having representatives from different areas of the business to educated us.

    • This event has helped me loads to understand more about this company as well as the areas which they are engaged in.

    • The Insight has helped me loads in terms of understanding more about BlackRock being a company with a very respectful culture for their employees.

    • The knowledge and insight I have gained from this event has certainly intrigued me to learn more about the roles and potential careers available at BlackRock.

    • I was not paid or reimbursed expenses

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There was a lot of opportunities throughout the event to network and meet with representatives. In addition to this, we were able to chat with representatives over drinks and snacks at their London Office.

    • The networknig and social event opportunities were very fruitful, with a very desirable representative to student ratio.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Although we definitely got the opportunities to ask representatives more about their social life outside work, there wasn't an exact presentation regarding this area.

    • I will definitely recommend this insight program to friends which are interested in BlackRock or are uncertain which area of career they hope to get in.
