  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very interesting for me to see and hear about the everyday at an investment firm like BlackRock. I am very thankful for this opportunity and It has convinced me that finance is a field that I would like to work in.

    • I felt that we were given appropriate attention and that effort was put into the event as well. Those running the event gave great insight and were engaging in their presentations.

    • The structure of the insight day was sufficient. I am not sure of how much more could have been done in this respect.

    • It was interesting to hear that people from all academic backgrounds are able to work in finance.

    • The speakers stayed on topic and gave ample time for questions

    • I do not feel that this question necessarily applies to the day.

    • This insight had great speakers from all different aspects of the role. I feel that these individuals cleared up a lot of questions that the students had about working for a firm like this.

    • I learned how much of a team effort BlackRock uses in order to achieve their goals and that each person in the team had a different skill to bring to the table.

    • This insight day gave me confidence in considering investment banking as a possible carrier option as well as the opportunities and challenges that come with such a profession.

    • I did not require any payment for the Insight day.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Yes those at the event actively engaged with myself and other students in the room addressing our questions and providing valuable insight into gaining a carrier at BlackRock.

    • Yes. To anyone interested in finance or wanting to work for a firm similar to BlackRock i would highly suggest attending such an event.
