The Role
During my internship I learned a lot, and I spent good time in Verizon office, I really enjoyed my time there.
I felt really valued by my colleagues, they where all willing to involve me in many activities, they really wanted to help me and make me part of the business. I couldn't find better colleagues.
I received the right support from my supervisors but at the same time I also have had the possibility to manage daily activities by myself and it made me become more responsible.
There where periods in which I had a lot to do, many activities to manage and deadlines, and other days in which I had some free time that I could manage by myself. I often dedicated it to my personal development through online courses or reading material about Verizon products and services in order to improve my knowledge.
I had many responsibilities and also some projects to manage during my internship, especially after the first few months.
During my internship I developed not only technical skills but also personal skills and I think these will be very useful in my future career in any industry.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was generally good.
The overall work internship set up was well organized, I had a mentor in the office and he helped me to work in the right way and reach the objectives of my internship. I also had reviews with the talent manager and other hr managers and it was useful to make the internship more effective.
I had the opportunity to take online courses but also to participate to courses that took place in the office for the employees.
