The Role
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Being in NYC and working for a global, top-tier investment bank was a priceless experience
Very much so
My boss was very supportive even when I got things wrong. Was professional and consistent in his feedback
Some days were really busy, some days were really quiet.
Progressively more throughout the year. Not much at the start but you have to earn it.
Fantastic transferable skills and cultural knowledge.
The Company
Professional, relaxed but focused.
Great. Logistically running an internship in New York for someone coming from the UK must be very difficult and I had no problems so happy to say it was well run.
The opportunity was there to take part in extra courses, lunch and learns etc.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Hard to say as it was a fixed year in New York.
The Culture
A year in New York with 300 other interns!!!! So many brunches.
Expensive
It's New York. I haven't experienced anything better.
Yes. Volunteering, sporting events, cultural events, fashion shows, networking dinners. Both with UBS and Mountbatten Institute
