The Role
I enjoyed my time at CRUK.
Everyone at CRUK was keen to help where they could
My team were supportive but I was left to get on with my own work without supervision.
I was busy but not overwhelmed with work
I had responsibility for my own project and was trusted to complete an important task in my manager's absence.
My experience will enable me to now pursue a career in this field.
The Company
Good, friendly atmosphere
Very well organised.
CRUK provided interns with CV workshops and interview skills and personal development packs. I feel to improve on this further workshops could be offered to develop other key skills.
I would definitely apply to any suitable roles within CRUK
The Culture
Yes, interns got on well and socialised together.
It is expensive to live in London when on an unpaid internship
Lots of good pubs and bars around
Lots of opportunities to get involved in volunteering
