About You
Enjoyed it very much. Very informative with work shadowing, case studies, networking and group presentation at the end.
Very valued. They looked after us with accommodation, lunch and made sure all our queries were answered well and on time.
As much as was necessary and more if we needed.
I developed my communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills along with other relevant skills.
The Company
Very well structured with a schedule given right at the beginning of the week.
Very good atmosphere. Everyone, from staff to participants, were very friendly.
The firm invested a lot of time and resources into the spring week participants between skills sessions, accommodation, lunches, skills sessions and much more. You could tell they cared about you.
It really helped me decide as they explained a lot about the company and we had three shadowing sessions across three different areas in the spring week division.
It helped me understand the culture very much, especially the new values which they introduced since the new CEO. I very much identified myself with the company's values.
Very valuable as it gave me an overall view of the company and the banking sector as a whole.
Everything Else
250 pounds for the week and reimbursed for accommodation as well as provided with Lunch and treats every day.
Lots of opportunities for meeting graduates, full time and senior employees within the company. Many speed networking sessions as well as a big networking session with senior ranking employees in the Barclays building.
Very good and useful.
Yes, there was a good work life balance according to all the people that I shadowed.
Definitely.
