About You
Extremely enjoyable experience. People, structure and atmosphere were just extremely enjoyable and gave a lot of us an idea of what we want to do in the future and what to do to realise those goals. In addition, it really showed how the organisation works like and what can be done within it.
All of the Barclays employees were really concerned with our development and role within the organisation. Everyone was extremely helpful and always willing to answer any of the questions.
A lot. There were shadowing sessions organised on four out five days with current grads or people just off the grad scheme. The guidance from each and every one of them was amazing, with helpful feedback and advice on the programmes and applications.
It was certainly very helpful in the context of what I want to be doing after graduation. In addition, it gave me an idea of which modules to pick and what to specialise in at later years of uni.
The Company
Very well structured. It was a mix of work shadowings, presentations, group project work and panels. All of those were very well organised and the people presenting really enjoyed that. It definitely gave us a good idea of what the organisation is like and how we can fit within it/
The people in the programme were really, really great. It was amazing how such a random group of people really got along together and shared their ideas and insights.
A great deal. We participated in a lot of skills sessions covering mainly: Presentation Skills, Networking Skills, Interviews Skills and others. All of them were very relatable and definitely helped in making the most of the programme.
It helped us a lot. The shadowing sessions with people on the grad programme really gave us an idea of how developers and business analysts fit within the organisation and what the scope of their responsibility is.
We had a session on the company values which really seemed to be demonstrated throughout the different presentations and panel sessions.
Very valuable. It definitely helped me choose the right career path and a role within that path.
