About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight. There were a very wide range of interesting events organised such as work shadowing and group presentations.
Extremely valued. It was clear that Barclays had made a lot of investment in the Spring Week.
Tonnes! Grads and even senior staff were always happy to answer any questions we had.
I developed great presentation, teamwork and networking skills which will be very useful in my degree.
The Company
Very well structured. We were given timetables with useful events scheduled for each day.
Very enjoyable, supportive and insightful.
We had useful presentations to develop soft skills such as presentation and networking training.
We had 4 work shadowing sessions over the week in very different areas of the bank which provided us with a very detailed insight of what a full time role would involve.
We were constantly told of the values at Barclays but more importantly, the culture was seen during the work shadowing sessions. It is an amazing, collaborative culture where everyone is willing to help.
I definitely want to pursue a career within technology in banking.
