The Role
It was hard work but exciting and challenging at the same time.
There was a great team mentality
My recruiter was very helpful in guiding me in the right direction for advice and senior members of staff were equally as willing to support me throughout the internship.
There was a good balance of hands on work and learning from others.
I was responsible for my own research project and presenting to others.
I obtained invaluable skills learning from others and in a high pressured environment.
The Company
The trading floor is definitely an exciting place to be where you are kept on your toes.
Great training week and subsequent 9 weeks.
A lot of time and effort is spent in the whole recruiting process, from the assessment centre to the training week, and development from there on.
Subsidised Canteen
Am looking forward to starting with the company next year.
The Culture
Made strong relationships with fellow interns whom I travelled with after the internship, and will also be working with when we graduate.
Canary Wharf isn't cheap as chips, but it was great fun nonetheless.
Nothing else compares to London nightlife!
Though depending on how seriously you take your work, will depend how much time you have outside of work.
