The Role
Very enjoyable work atmosphere and internship programme. The "Meet a Director and Managing Director" scheme was good, but ten seemed rather arbitary.
I got on with the other interns very well and was made to feel welcome by the team I worked with.
Work level varied based on problems which were encountered. Some days were quite slow paced others I was very busy indeed.
I was delegated a specific set of tasks by my line manager in the first couple of weeks. As I became more confident and efficient at these my duties were expanded.
Great opportunity to develop soft skills inparticular.
The Company
The atmosphere was quite balanced not deadly silent but also not rowdy.
The scheme was very well organised and thought out.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Accepted the offer of a grad job starting in August 2011
The Culture
Social events among colleagues from my team and the intern class were commonplace.
Canary Wharf is not cheap.
It has a nice after work buzz.
There were many company organised sport and social groups.
