About You
Having come into this programme with limited financial knowledge, the specific insight into each industry sector was very interesting
Everyone in the company was always willing to help/answer questions no matter what they were
There was definitely enough guidance/support to be effective but I guess part of the programme is learning by yourself, taking initiative etc
It has given me a very valuable insight into finance, enabling me to find my prefences/ realise where my strengths lie. However, I have to say the one area I realised I was most interest in (market research) was only touched upon briefly.
The Company
Very well structured, we were always kept busy
Very welcoming, everyone was always happy to help
They gave us a two hour opportunity to work shadow employees which was very insightful
Talking with employees at networking events, learning what they did on a day to day basis
Being on a woman only programme it is clear the emphasis that Citi base on diversity.
Definitely gave me some career path, however I wish I had more of an opportunity to explore market research
Everything Else
As it was only an insight programme so I wasnt expecting to be paid
Endless opportunities!
Very insightful, as everyone was so interested, sometimes there wasn't enough time for all questions to be answered
Specifically women, for example the womens' network
Definitely, especially female friends who are slight intimidated by finance
