The Role
This was a great internship and the interns were strongly supported by the other employees and management at the firm. A very structured program with great exposure to many parts of the firm.
BarCap has a very down-to-earth culture and I felt well respected and welcomed by my colleagues. Most people are very accessible and helpful, even among more senior management.
Management supported the interns and internship program wholeheartly.
There was always enough to do, although the work load was not so large that it felt overwhelming.
I was impressed by how much trust management put in me, and I was given responsibility for important projects early on. As an intern, I could not have direct contact with clients, but beyond that, I felt that I was given the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the firm.
A very structured internship program with strong focus on learning different skills.
The Company
Very open, helpful, fun, and supportive atmosphere.
Well structured and organized.
I felt that BarCap put much resources behind their internship program, and that it was supported from the top. When comparing experiences with students from other banks, I found myself fortunate to intern at BarCap.
