About You
I thought the insight was generally good experience, it really allowed me to see what is expected by Deloitte in terms of their recruitment process and the kind of culture that exists at Deloitte.
I felt that Deloitte really valued us during the time we spent with them and made an effort to make sure that we felt comfortable and well looked after. For example, we were provided with a good hotel during our stay at the insight.
I felt that we were given a fair amount of guidance during the insight, the staff made sure that the majority of our questions were answered and many of the presenters put a large amount of effort into making sure that the content was interesting and relevant.
Good business presentation skills. After having attending this insight, I felt much more knowledgable about how to present myself.
The Company
Overall well-structured, a couple mis-haps, but overall well organised and concise.
Good atmosphere. Everyone was friendly.
I felt that given the time frame, a fair amount of effort was put in. For example, we were coached on how to present ourselves through body language and had the opportunity to do interview training.
Even though the insight was short, I felt that we got quite a clear idea of what it would have been like to work with the firm. Obviously, not everything could be answered, but overall it was very informative.
Really good insight into the culture, being able to meet professionals from all different levels allowed me to get a good understanding of the company's culture.
I found that the content allowed me to get a better idea of my future career path, but I personally would need a bit more time to get a really clear picture.
Everything Else
I was fairly reimbursed for travel only.
Good ability to meet employees.
Decent networking abilities, however, I'm sure they would be vastly improved if the program were longer.
Yes, got a good idea of the social events that took place outside of the office. Regular amount of socials from the sound of things.
Yes, definitely worth attending and finding out more about the company, it's culture, the kind of work that gets done and most importantly; it's a great way to improve your business skills and network a tiny bit.
