  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Very much. It was a packed and very enjoyable three days.

    • Very valued by HR and many employees, but some employees we talked to didn't seem to know why we were there or what they had been invited to.

    • Received as much guidance as was needed.

    • Not really in my degree but certainly in my future financial career!

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Well structured however a few events ran over time and a couple under time.

    • Very relaxed and encouraging.

    • Not particular financial training but useful skills sessions were there to help.

    • Hard to see this over three days but work shadowing and networking events helped give a small insight into what it could be like.

    • Very good for understanding the culture as lots of networking events.

    • I already had a good idea but the programme helped to solidify that impression.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Travel reimbursed.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Lots of opportunities including a really enjoyable night doing pub quiz!

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • Lots of opportunity to meet all our colleagues as we were in groups who we grew very close to and during social networking events such as the quiz again.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Working in an investment bank is a full on role so not much outside work but a few diversity projects and talks of the gym were mainly discussed by employees.
