About You
Overall the insight programme was very enjoyable. The business games and case studies I got to participate in were intellectually stimulating and unexpectedly fun as I got to work in teams. The networks and friends I made were also some of the best things about Spring into Deloitte.
I felt very valued during my time at the firm. There were many staffs/employees involved in the event, who were very friendly and willing to help us during the business games or answer any questions we had for them.
The support I received at the event was beyond expectation.
I gained insight into Deloitte and its different service lines during the programme, which has helped get an idea of which service line I want to pursue as a career in the future. Also, after various activities, such as receiving a lecture from the body language expert, participating in business games, and practicing interview skills, my confidence in presenting myself, whether it be in university or at a recruitment stage, has definitely improved.
The Company
The 2-day insight programme was very organised. The structure of the event was provided to us at the beginning and it was followed very well. The programme included many presentations and stimulating business games from all service lines, with sufficient amount of breaks in between. I never felt bored, confused or too tired.
Professional and very positive atmosphere overall.
The mock interview was particularly valuable as I got feedback from a trained interviewer on my individual strengths and weaknesses.
Through participating in various business games, I got to experience work, similar to real-life work, in the different service lines. I also gained insight into what it is like to work at Deloitte through asking questions to the employees. It would have been even better if I had gotten a tour around the office so that I could see the real atmosphere in a work place.
The insight I gained into different service lines have definitely helped me get an idea of what I want to pursue as a career in the future. The business games have helped me gain a deeper understanding of the roles each service line play.
Everything Else
I had a lot of opportunities to talk to the employees (including a student recruiter, associates, managers and a partner), during the day on both 2 days and at the networking dinner.
Very good.
Yes, at the networking dinner, one of the employees talked about volunteering opportunities he could get involved in.
Definitely.
