Spring into Deloitte Review

The insight was enjoyable- it was a great way to meet new people with similar interests, there was a variety of activities which made it interesting. the dinner was a sociable aspect giving us the opportunity to ask questions and develop our understanding about Deloitte. Some aspects were a little repetitive, for example all groups presenting on the same case studies.

I felt well respected and Deloitte clearly had the aim of giving us as much information and advice as possible.

The event was well structured and timings of activities were clear. Employees were willing to answer questions and offer advice whenever required.

The skills and knowledge developed will help me in securing a further summer placement. I also learnt networking skills. Team activities and presentations developed my confidence and group work.

the insight was well structured offering us the chance to learn about all the different services Deloitte offers as well as talking to employees and asking lots of questions. Staying in the hotel was a good way for me to get to know my peers.

The atmosphere felt very positive! Everyone was eager to get involved, learn and listen! It was friendly as well as offering an insight into a business environment.

Deloitte invested in us very generously- we were fortunate enough to have talks from guest speakers and senior members of Deloitte. We stayed in a very nice hotel and were provided with good food and were well looked after.

The insight provided us with knowledge on the different services the firm offers and gave us a brief understanding on the tasks we may undertake in these services. However, in the short time it was hard to have a full awareness as to what a full time role would entail.

The insight helped me to understand the company culture particularly in the Bristol office. However, I think that working in the London office would be very different as there are many more employees. I think that Deloitte certainly values employees and offers them good training opportunities.

The day helped me understand the type of career Deloitte would offer me. However, I think a longer placement would be necessary before deciding a future career path.

We were reimbursed travel expenses. It was a 2 day placement and a hotel was provided for the middle night including a hotel meal.

Yes- there were opportunities throughout and this was particularly beneficial during the evening meal. Employees from all the services and different levels of seniority were available to talk to.

We met employees from within the firm but the focus was very internal.

No however this would have been beneficial

I would definitely recommend this insight- it was enjoyable as well as giving us a great opportunity to advance onto an interview for the 3-6 week summer vacation scheme.
