The Role
Everyone was really friendly and i thoroughly enjoyed the tasks I was given.
During meetings my input was always taken on board and my contribution to the project was valued by the whole team.
My mentor was always more than happy to answer any questions i had and always had time to ask how i was getting along and if there was anything i needed.
I always had lots to do but never felt like I was under pressure to work late.
The testing I was doing was a vital part of the project and the daily update email i was responsible for sending out kept the whole team informed of our progress.
I gained valuable programming experience which i hope to use in my future career.
The Company
Morale events organised by the company helped to promote a great, friendly working environment.
Very well organised.
Education seminars and personal training were provided throughout the placement so I was constantly getting better at my job.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Applied instantly for a graduate placement.
The Culture
All the interns bonded together and we had a great summer in Edinburgh going to Fringe Festival shows.
Accomodation was subsidised and provided by the company.
Edinburgh is a great city and we were spoilt for choice with the range of bars and clubs.
Various people in the office organised football at lunchtimes, games nights and other activities outside of the office.
