    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was very good to see how a London law firm runs in the office. The building was a wonderul place to work also due to its design and the restaurant provided a nice place to relax and eat.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • It is difficult to feel valued when one is only there for a brief period of time. However the associates did their best to provide tasks and in many cases they were important, if slightly tedious.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • They provided detailed instructions on how to perform some complicated tasks which also allowed me to feel more involved as the tasks were then able to be more complex.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • They were very valueable for reseach which I do a lot in my History degree.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structures between office hours and wrokshops.

    • Great! everyone is very friendly and pops in for a chat.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • They made sure I knew how to do any task that would have been asked of me and the workshops were a great experience.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • While not the same as working on a Training contract or as an associate the general office structure allowed me to get a glimpse of what it would be like to work here.

    • Yeah there is a great structure to the company and their values, as cheesy as it sounds, are present in the office even if it was simply down to people being nice and helpful.

    • It was a great way to get insight into whether or not a Law firm would be a good working enviorment.

    • There is no pay for the work experience.

    • yes we had experiences with talking to everyone from work shadowers, to trainees, to partners.

    • They provided nice food and drink and everyone was friendly.

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Yes the Vacation schemes have a lot of socials and drinks while there are sport teams to get involved with.

    • Yes, definately.
