About You
I enjoyed the welcoming nature of everyone here. The HR department were very informative and caring towards us. I have learnt a lot over the four days and would love to come back again.
I have been given responsibilities and tasks to preform making me feel valued and a part of the team. I have been allowed to see and use information I would not be allowed to in another place. I was given a responsibility to preform a powerpoint presentation with a small group, teaching me delegation, time keeping, prioritising and confidence.
A huge amount. I never felt lost or panicked durin gmy time at taylor Wessing. Not just from the HR team, but from the people I was working along side and everyone I came into contact with.
I have chosen not to further my education with a degree, but rather worked since I was 17. The skills I have developed and the information I have recieved have really helped and can and will be applied in my future prospects. I have learnt skills and knowledge that can not be taught but need to be done physically in the right environment. I have learnt a huge amount while being here, more than I expected to.
The Company
Very well structured. We were given time tables and informed of everything, including a fire drill. I felt included and never felt time was being wasted.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Taylor Wessing. If they would have me again, I would definitely return
The firm invested a lot of time and energy in me, which was therefore reciprocated. My personal training and development has increased greatly since starting my work experience.
It helped me to understand the firms core values and how the people work to uphold them. A week cannot compare to a full time job, but I feel it has helped me to prepare towards working full time for a firm.
Having worked in other companies before, each has a different culkture and ethos. I know and understand the four key values Taylor Wessing represents and works towards, and what the people who work here do to uphold them.
Very valuable, I have learnt things from working and speaking to different people more than I could have in a lesson.
Everything Else
I would have loved to have been paid for this experience as I had to take time off from my part time job, but I didnt mind.
Yes, we had a networking lunch and everyone was very helpful in offering their services to talk briefly in Cloud 9 or at the desk. Everyone allowed you to ask questions and demonstrate what was expected of us.
The networking lunch was good as it brought a variety of people into one room, and the sandwiches were great.
Yes, I know that Taylor Wessing is a very charitable firm and often hold events for team building and volunteering for charities such as Changing Faces.
Definitely, I would come back again if I could
